Dissociation Anonymous has found that more Loving-Kindfulness solutions are linked to less anxiety and depression. The more Lovingly-compassionate we are, the less likely we are to engage in self-criticism, rumination, avoidance and self-isolation - processes that often contribute to feelings of depression and anxiety.

Loving-Kindfulness is associated with positive aspects of wellbeing - it is linked to happiness, optimism, and greater emotional intelligence.
